Extra Brut is a champagne for purists. This dense and rigorous blend offers a precise yet approachable vision of champagne combined with a saline texture from its Chouilly subsoils. The grapes are grown in the family’s oldest hilltops parcels in which the deep-rooted vines draw their complexity from the terroir’s unique mother rock.

Cellaring recommandation

The utmost care and attention is given to the production of our champagnes in order to ensure their excellent potential for bottle aging. After a few years in the bottle ripe fruit aromas will intensify and the wine will begin to soften and evolve. Enjoy within 5 to 6 years in order to best appreciate the harmonious balance between fruit and chalkiness.

The nose is discreet, elegant and characterised by floral and citrus notes, apple, dried fruits and good evolution. The palate is fresh, silky smooth and very persistent with lingering notes of baked apple, caramel and spice. The 2 g/l dosage was evidently all this wine needed.
